Day 1 : Arrival at Jammu - Katra

Arrival at Jammu airport or Railway Station , pick up and proceed for Katra .On arrival check in the hotel. After relaxation you can start your Yatra to Vaishno devi Bhawan ( by foot or by helicopter) in evening come back to Katra. Dinner and overnight stay at Katra.

Day 2 : Katra - Srinagar

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Srinagar. On Arrival Check in the Srinagar hotel. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 3 : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast, full day excursion to Sonmarg, leave for Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). The distance of about 83 kms, will be covered in about 3 hrs. Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude Himalayan Lakes. Later come back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing & Shikara ride

After Breakfast, go for sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jahangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jahangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background.

 

In the Evening you take a Shikara ride( at own cost )  on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and Overnight in Srinagar Houseboat.

Day 5 : Srinagar – Gulmarg

Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view Enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. In Gulmarg you can cover Khir Bhawani temple, gondola ride (on direct payment basis). Dinner overnight in Gulmarg hotel.

Day 6 : Gulmarg – Pahalgam

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds).The total distance is about 130 kms, will be covered in about 4  hours. En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Dinner and overnight in Pahalgam hotel.

Day 7 : Pahalgam

After breakfast, you will go for Sightseeing covering Awantipura ruins, Vishnu temple & lidder river . you can also go for Chandan wari , aru valley , betab valley and a place called mini Switzerland (on direct payment basis), but all these destinations you can cover by Pony or local union taxi, our cab will not go for these places. Dinner and overnight stay at  Pahalgam Hotel.

Day 8 : Pahalgam – Jammu Drop

After Breakfast, check out and proceed to Jammu and drop you at Jammu Railway Station for your onward Journey.
